Oh, Youka Nitta, how could you be so dumb?

So many cases of direct copying from ads. I mean, sometimes even the same clothes/shoes, backgrounds bit for bit.

Sigh.

Yeah, I never really read any of her stuff, but I was just shaking my head at this.

The girls on DOD were saying that even if she directly copied, a lot of her work still looks stiff and contrived. You would think after she had gotten very popular she would have stopped since the likelihood of her getting caught would have exponentially increased..

I read about this on some friend's LJ. I have no idea who Youka Nitta is (go me! XD), but these are so blatant obvious copies it's almost amusing.

She's a popular yaoi artist and was a guest of honor at yaoi-con (NO LONGER). Yeah, I was looking at them and like, seriously, some of the stuff was even photoshopped on and over.

Holy crap, that's nuts. What a High Impact douchenozzle.

It's one thing to use stuff like that as a figure reference or something, but not to just directly copy or trace it... yike.

I do like that a lot of these artists are getting shown up for doing that stuff. Bleck.

Yeah! Using images as references is something different. If you look at it some of the images are almost completely traced.
